These downloadable eMIMS database updates include the latest changes to medicines information (including availability of new products, changed product information or deletions of product), new product images, CMI updates and updates to MIMS DrugAlert (our interactions checking program).
Update April 2013 to May 2013
Use this set to update the original April 2013 eMIMS CD data.
You must have the April 2013 CD installed before you can apply the May 2013 update.

Note: eMIMS must not be running while updates are being applied.
Once the setup file has been fully downloaded, run it by double-clicking on the file from Windows Explorer and follow the prompts. The update program will then complete and your eMIMS will be ready for use with the latest information available.
Network Mode: You need to run the downloaded update file on a computer that runs eMIMS (ie one of the workstations). As in all server image updates, you need to be sure that eMIMS is not being used by anyone else at the time you are applying the update.

Errata eMIMS December 2012
Due to the transition of the PBS information in December 2012, there were a small number of alterations in the PBS which were not reflected in the Summary of Changes. As a result, some of these changes have not been incorporated in MIMS data. A small number of Streamlined Authority codes are affected and pertain mainly to the anti-resorptive agents.
This will be rectified for January 2013 data release. We strongly encourage you to update the December 2012 version with the January 2013 downloadable update as soon as it is made available here
